Test DaF Course – Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (Test of German as a foreign language)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The homestudies Test-DaF-Certificate course prepares you optimally for the German as a Foreign Language Test. The TestDaF-Certificate is an internationally recognized diploma. The exam can be taken in special test centres all over the world. The TestDaF is often required by students who want to start studying in German-speaking countries or in Germany. The target groups are mainly students and scientists.

AFTER THE TESTDAF COURSE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO:

Make use of an extensive vocabulary.
Express feelings and opinions in oral and written form.
Conduct spontaneous conversations with native speakers.
Discuss various topics fluently.
Understand more complex texts and abstract topics.

The TestDaF certificate attests that the holder has a very good knowledge of German. With the TestDaF certificate, non-native speakers are admitted into German universities, for example.

PREPARATION FOR THE TESTDAF

At homestudies you can prepare optimally for the test of German as a foreign language. Your personal homestudies German teacher will put together an individual course programme for you. You will already be immersed in the world of the German language during your first lesson. You will experience the language and culture and prepare efficiently for your TestDaF examination.

TESTDAF EXAM

The TestDaF examination consists of four parts: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing and oral expression.

Reading Comprehension

Content: Reading texts with a total of 30 items.

Duration: 60 minutes

Listening Comprehension

Content: 3 listening texts with a total of 25 items.

Duration: about 40 minutes.

Writing Skills

Content: 1 writing task

Duration: 60 minutes

Oral Expression

Content: 7 speaking tasks

Duration: approx. 35 minutes (incl. instruction)
