About me

Born and bred in London, I have been teaching English since June 2015, having completed my TEFL course with a Distinction. My background is in media – I have a Masters Degree in Journalism from Birkbeck College (University of London) and was a radio presenter between 2009 and 2017. I also studied Drama at Exeter University between 2006 and 2009.

My passion for languages started several years ago, when I decided to start learning Spanish. I have been studying at the University of Westminster since 2013, and managed to practise my Spanish during a trip to Argentina at the beginning of 2015. My love of languages inspired me to take a TEFL course, and I’ve been teaching ever since – and loving every minute of it!

I have a real mixture of students, with some complete beginners learning the basics of English, some studying for exams, such as the FCE (Cambridge First), IELTS and TOEFL, and some advanced students simply looking to improve their English. My classes focus on the needs of the student.
