French Teacher Murielle

Hello everyone! I am French and spent my childhood and teenage years in France before living abroad for 30 years. I have now returned to live in France and continue to travel regularly – something I’m truly passionate about.

I studied French and German literature and linguistics in Germany, then worked for 5 years at a university followed by 10 years for the German national education system as a certified teacher (agrégée). During those years, I gained and developed strong expertise in education and training. Throughout this time, I also served as a teacher and examiner for UNICERT university exams, the French baccalauréat, pedagogy exams for state and private alternative schools, as well as DELF diplomas at all levels.

I then spent 5 years working for a German foundation in humanitarian and social development as a project manager in West Africa. My love for the French language and my need to pass it on, along with both conventional and innovative, creative teaching methods, have been the keys to my success. My qualifications and extensive experience as a teacher and examiner have always been the foundation for preparing and supporting students of all ages from highly diverse backgrounds.

As someone who loves continuous learning and passing on my mother tongue in a way that’s meaningful to my students’ development, I design each lesson around real-life contexts and the student’s own interests and passions, as well as the requirements of any upcoming diplomas – making learning purposeful, structured, motivating and geared towards continuous progress.
