Course Description

Enhance your French skills with the DALF C1 exam preparation course at homestudies! This 12-week online course is specially designed to prepare you for the globally recognized exam by the Académie Française and particularly by France Education International. Lessons are held in small interactive groups of 1 to 5 people, allowing for intensive care and deep learning. You will acquire French skills at level C1 and specifically train the skills required for successful exam completion. Please note that the exam fees are not included in the course price.

Prerequisites

Already have French knowledge at level C1. Meaning, you can communicate fluently, understandably, and practically without hesitation.
Need the final touch for the DALF C1 exam.
Must schedule at least 1h30 of lessons per week and additional time for homework to support and deepen the learning process.

Course Content

The course content is diverse and includes:

Exam Preparation: Use model tests to develop an understanding of the process and requirements of the exam.
Vocabulary and Grammar: Deepen your vocabulary and grammatical skills to communicate fluently and correctly in French.
Skills Training: Intensively train the four main skills – Listening (CO), Reading (CE), and Written (PE) and Oral (PO) Production - to be confident in all aspects of the language.
Teaching Material: Learn with the latest materials specifically developed for exam preparation, namely: Le DALF 100% réussite - C1 + some official topics from the FEI website (France Education International).

Learning Objectives

The DALF C1 exam tests your French skills at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). By the end of this course, you should be able to:

Speak spontaneously and fluently without obviously searching for words.
Discuss complex topics clearly and structured, and demonstrate your control over the tools of organizing, articulating, and coherence of discourse.
Use the language effectively and flexibly in your social, professional, or academic life, both orally and in writing.
Understand a wide range of long and demanding texts and grasp implicit meanings.
Read and understand long and complex factual and literary texts in French, perceive style differences, and also understand complex instructions and technical documents.
Choose the style in various texts that suits the respective readers, write clearly and precisely, and communicate effectively about complex topics.
