I have experience with General English, exam preparation, Business English and conversation classes. I love teaching English
because it allows me simultaneously to pursue several of my passions: the study of foreign
languages, the English language, cross-cultural exchange and teaching. I currently live in Brazil,
and I thoroughly enjoy meeting students from around the world through online teaching. I look
forward to helping you meet your English language goals!

About me

I grew up and went to university in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. My first experience
learning another language was studying Spanish in school, and I enjoyed it so much that I
continued to study Spanish through university. My primary field of undergraduate study was
Linguistics. Since then, I have also learned Portuguese (fluent), French (B2) and Arabic (basic).
After university, I earned a Cambridge CELTA certificate, which opened the door to teaching
English as a foreign language. I have taught at language schools in France and Brazil, as well as
in nonprofit English classes for immigrants in the United States.
