About me

Hello, and welcome! If you’re looking for help with your English studies, you’ve come to the right place. I’m a friendly English teacher from Scotland who loves to share my love of languages with other people. I’ve taught students from all over the world and across all levels of English, from beginner to advanced. I have some experience studying a variety of languages, and I also have a Masters in Japanese (1 st ) with distinction in spoken Japanese, so I know what it’s like to be a foreign language student. I’ve been teaching English for around 6 years now and have 5 qualifications in Teaching English, including the Cambridge certificate: CELTA (Pass A). I’ve helped many students achieve their goals in the past and I am excited to meet and help my future students too. My classes tend to have a friendly yet focused atmosphere, and my emphasis is on communication and encouragement. Are you afraid of making mistakes? Don’t worry: in my class, you’ll discover that mistakes are an important part of the learning process and not something to be scared of. I will help you each stage of the way and you will come away from each lesson with a sense of achievement.
