Julia

In my classes, I use the Communicative Approach. This means that grammar and vocabulary serve the process of communication. I like to make my classes varied with different activities. We will talk and write a lot together, but we’ll also listen to a lot of music, watch short videos or movies, or read news articles. Of course, I would also love to provide you with information and tips about the diverse and beautiful Latin America!

Acerca de mí

My name is Julia, and I’m from Argentina, where I now live again after spending nine years abroad. My native language is Spanish, but I also speak German (C2), Portuguese (B2), and English (B1+). I studied German-Spanish translation for my bachelor’s degree and, after several years of teaching experience at a German school, I completed an intercultural master’s degree in German as a Foreign Language. I have been teaching German for more than ten years. I spent the last five years living in Uruguay, where I also worked as a Spanish teacher. During this time, I participated in various training sessions and seminars to further qualify specifically as a Spanish teacher. I love learning new languages and cultures, and that’s one of the reasons why I enjoy working as a Spanish teacher so much. It allows me to share my own language and culture with the world 🙂
