About me

Hello,
My name is Yvonne. I was born, raised and educated in Germany. Many years ago I moved to Spain to the Canary Islands. Here I had a successful professional life.

7 years ago I started teaching German as a foreign language presenzial. I gained experience in a trilingual elementary school, as well as in adult continuing education courses. Since 2016 I have been teaching online, which is the future for everyone. This way I can teach German as a foreign language in English and Spanish, which means all over the world. There are many advantages: hourly flexibility, adaptability for any level of knowledge and age, teaching is not only based on a book, but has endless possibilities from the Internet, which can answer any question. Homework with online exercises, youtube movies or grammatical explanations, make learning easier, even more fun.
This way the student learns correct pronunciation and gets cultural information, which is an important part of the language.
